About the project

Lumbung Nuquí brought together diverse artistic collectives from the Philippines, Mexico, the Amazon, the Andes, and the Colombian Pacific. The gathering was facilitated by Más Arte Más Acción, with the primary objective of fostering connections among organizations tied to the socio-cultural ecosystem of the Chocoan Pacific. This event aimed to facilitate knowledge-sharing and the creation of new platforms for envisioning possibilities, including participation in the art exhibition Documenta 15 in Kassel, Germany.

We were invited to create a documentation laboratory using non-traditional formats. We mapped the journeys and relationships that emerged during the gathering, developed logs to record each of the experiences, and created visual reports to account for the ideas that emerged from the participants and how they evolved when exposed and discussed.

Additionally, we developed a website to compile the words, images, and sounds that captured the significance of this experience for the collectives, Más Arte Más Acción and Amazink.
