About the project

ForumCiv is a Swedish civil society organization that operates with a rights-based approach. Their purpose is to strengthen democratic processes and eradicate discrimination in the territories where they operate, contributing to creating a more just and sustainable world where all individuals are recognized and respected.

To achieve this mission, ForumCiv has developed different tools known as development perspectives, which are replicable in diverse contexts. These tools enable the assessment of the root causes that enhance human rights violations and help design strategies to transform structural violence.

Together with ForumCiv, we utilized the strength and power of metaphors to explain why these tools were developed, their relevance, and how they can be effectively applied.
